Day
1 Arrive Delhi
You will be met by your car with chauffeur for the short transfer to your
hotel for overnight stay.
Day 2 Full
day sightseeing in Delhi
Full day sightseeing in Delhi. You could include some of the following: Old
Delhi, Red Fort, and the Jama Masjid Mosque, with a rickshaw ride through
the Chandni Chowk visiting the Spice, Wedding and Silver Markets and then
the Birla Temple if you wish before lunch. Then a drive through New Delhi to
see the Parliament Buildings of Sir Edwin Lutyens, India Gate and Humayun's
Tomb. Overnight stay at your hotel.
Day 3 Delhi
- Neemrana approx
02 hrs drive
After breakfast leave Delhi for 02 hrs drive to Neemrana for the beginning
of your tour through Rajasthan. Your first stop will be at the 15th Century
Fort Palace of Neemrana. This building has been converted into a beautiful
hotel, each room and suite having its own style and character. Take a drink
up on to one of the many terraces and watch the sun set over the plains of
Rajasthan. Neemrana has a beautiful swimming pool, Yoga and Ayurvedic
massage centre. Close by the village of Neemrana are step wells which make
an interesting outing. The drive takes approximately 10 minutes from the
Fort-Palace
Day 4 Neemrana
- Kesroli approx
03 hrs drive
After breakfast at Neemrana suggest you go to visit the step wells. They
are close by the village of Neemrana the step wells make an interesting
outing. The drive takes approximately 10 minutes from the
Fort-Palace. Return to Neemrana for lunch if you wish.
Continue the short and beautiful drive until you arrive at the 14th century
fort of Kesroli for your overnight stay. The Fort is built on a hillock
surrounded my mustard fields and the Aravali Hills. It has gardens within
the walls where meals are served and drinks are given up on the ramparts,
affording beautiful views of the surroundings.
Day 5 Kesroli
- Jaipur approx
03 hrs drive
Leave after breakfast for the drive to Jaipur, capital of Rajasthan. This
is a busy bustling city where the bazaars spill over on to the streets, to
mingle with the handcarts, camels, elephants, scooters, rickshaws and
tuk-tuks. It is lively and colourful and painted pink!
Accommodation:
Trident
Hilton Hotel. This Hotel is built opposite the Jal Mahal Lake with its
palace in the middle of the water. Each morning many elephants will pass
your bedroom window on their way to Amber.
Mandawa Haveli. This Haveli is over 100 years old and has been
recently refurbished as a small hotel. It has beautiful Indian style rooms
with modern bathrooms and is located in the centre of the walled city.
Excellent food and a small swimming pool and gardens to boot.
Samode Haveli: The 200 year old Samode Haveli was once the townhouse
of the prime minister of Jaipur. It has inside courtyards and a newly added
attractive swimming pool within the gardens. Although in a busy part of town
it is peaceful inside and very popular with visitors.
Dag 6 Jaipur
Whole day to sightsee and shop in Jaipur. Suggest you begin the day to
visit Amber Fort Palace, which is spectacular. Later you can visit the City
Palace in Jaipur city itself, the Hawa Mahal - Palace of the Winds and the
Observatory. Jaipur is famous as a centre for carpet weaving - silk and wool
- and also for Jaipur blue pottery, but probably best known for its
exquisite gems and jewellery.
PLEASE NOTE:
- Photography
in some of the museum and galleries inside the City Palace is not
allowed.
- Due
to a fatal accident in Oct 2005 we are no longer recommending the
elephant ride at the Amar Fort in Jaipur to our clients. You are
strongly requested NOT to take an elephant ride even if one is
offered. Anglo Indiago cannot take responsibility for any calamities
which occur if the guest decides to take an elephant ride.

Day
7 Jaipur -
Ranthambhore National Park (Approx
04 hrs drive)
After breakfast leave for Ranthambhore national Park for 03 nights stay.
Ranthambhore National Park is probably the best place for wildlife sightings
including tiger, leopard and sloth bear. Bound by rivers, the park is
characterised by rocky plains, flat hilltops and precipitous cliffs covered
by dry forest. It houses a rich flora and fauna, villages and farmland.
Other animals found here are caracal, hyenas, crocodiles, wild boar and 300
species of birds. Tiger sightings at Ranthambhore are probably the highest
anywhere in the north of India. Wear suitable clothing and avoid any bright
colours including white.
Accommodation:
The Ranthambhore Regency. This hotel has rooms in the main building,
cottages, all of which are air-conditioned, and a small swimming pool.
Simple but comfortable.
Sawai Madhopur Lodge: Run by the Taj group this is the old hunting
lodge of the Jaipur royal family. The main building has a semi-circular
lounge and verandah, bar and restaurant. Rooms are in separate blocks within
the very extensive gardens and luxury tents are used during the winter
season on the front lawns. Evening dinners are taken outside with a bonfire.
Dev Vilas
Set in three and a half acres of land in an eco-sensitive zone, the
building in Indo-Saracen style takes a cue from the Shikaar or hunting
lodges built by the Maharajahs. It follows the traditional architectural
lines, inspiring romance and adventure and is located nearest to the
entrance of the National Park.

Day
8 & 9 Ranthambhore
National Park
Own programme to enjoy the safaris in to the park. Overnight stay at your
hotel.
Day 10 Ranthambhore
National Park - Bharatpur (approx
04 hrs drive)
After breakfast drive to Bharatpur in the direction of Agra. Your overnight
stay will be here at the Laxmi villas Palace/ Birders Inn.
Bharatpur us famous for its migratory birds, the Keoladeo Ghana National
Park is a must. No less than 400 kinds of birds have been recorded here.
More than 100 kinds have migrated from countries such as China, Siberia and
Afghanistan to pass the more temperate winters in India. The best way to see
the park is either by bicycle or by rickshaw.

Day
11 Bharatpur -
Fatehpur Sikri - Agra approx
02 hrs drive
After breakfast drive to Agra, stopping on the way to visit Fatehpur Sikri,
the deserted capital city of Emperor Akbar. Your tour should include a visit
to the beautiful Dargah Mosque, the Buland Darwaza, Victory Gate - Akbar's
victory over Gujarat and the tomb of Shaikh Salim Chishti. Also the palaces
of Akbar's women; Jodh Bal Palace for his Hindu mother, Birbal Bhawan for
his favourite courtier and Golden House for his Christian wife. Also make a
visit to the Karawan Serai which is a courtyard surrounded by hostels used
for visiting merchants, the Panch Mahal, a five storey palace the Treasury
(Ankh Micholi) the Diwn-I-Khas (must see!) and the Diwan-I-Am. Looks a lot
but would not take more than one hour altogether. Upon arrival in Agra check
in at your hotel for overnight stay. Rest of the day free... If you wish you
can visit Taj Mahal at sunset.

This hotel is situated in the area of the Taj, the hotel provides good
accommodation and services and has a multi-cuisine restaurant, bar, gardens
and pool.
Amar Vilas
It is a top end hotel, run by The Oberoi group. The room with balcony faces
the Taj Mahal itself, only 600 metres away with unbroken views, the only
hotel of its kind. Amar Vilas has unique architecture, elaborate Mughal
gardens with terraced lawns and fountains, pools and pavilions. It provides
all top facilities including a Spa run by The Banyan Tree Company (Thai).
Howard Park Plaza
Howard Park Plaza is very much centrally located. It provides all modern
amenities including Swimming Pool, Health Club, Sauna, Steam, Jacuzzi and
beauty Parlour.
The hotel cuisine is renowned for its taste and splendour. Howard Park
Plaza guests enjoy a view of the Taj Mahal from the rooftop viewing gallery.
Day 12 Agra
Morning sightseeing with a guide to visit the monuments. Monuments to visit
in Agra are the Taj Mahal, the tomb of Mumtaz, beloved wife of the emperor
Shah Jehan, the Red Fort and the exquisite Itimad-ud-Daulah, tomb of the
wazir of Emperor Jehangir. Return to your hotel for overnight stay.
Dag 13 Agra
- Delhi approx
04 hrs drive
After sightseeing leave Agra for the 4 hrs drive back to Delhi in time to
catch your QR 231 flight which is due to leave at 2105 hrs. Your driver will
take you to the International airport to onward destination.
End of services.
