This
tour contains all the ingredients Kerala has to offer :
History in Cochin, beaches, backwater cruises, spice plantations,
elephants,
ayurvedic massages and last but not least Kathakali dances.
Day 1. Arrival Cochin
Arrival at Cochin airport and transfer to your hotel for overnight stay.
Rest of the day at leisure.

2. Cochin
Whole day to sightsee in Cochin including the Dutch Palace, Jewtown, Santa
Cruz Basilica and St.Francis Church. Evening visit to a performance of
Kathakali dances. Overnight at your hotel.
Elephant Sanctuary
Day 3. Cochin
Day to relax or a daytrip to the Elephant Sanctuary and Kathakali School.
Evening free with overnight stay at your hotel in Cochin.
Day 4. Cochin - Thekkady
Morning drive on up through tea, coffee and spice plantations to the
Nilgiri Hills and Thekkady. Overnight at your hotel in Thekkady.

5. Thekkady
Morning visit to a spice plantation. Afternoon free or optional boatride
over Lake Periyar. Overnight at your hotel in Thekkady.
Day 6. Thekkady - Kumarakom
Drive down to the coastal region and reach to your lagoon hotel by car or
by boat. Here most stays will be in traditional style Keralan houses.
Evening cruise on Lake Vembanad in a rice boat accompanied by a flute
player. Overnight at your hotel.

7. in Kumarakom
Morning cruise down the backwaters. Afternoon free to relax or try an
Ayurvedic massage.

8. Kumarakom - Marari Beach
After breakfast take the launch or speedboat across the lake to reach the
Arabian Sea and the coastal resorts. Unspoiled beaches and coconut groves
await you here. Three days to relax and a possibility to try some Ayurvedic
treatment and / or a massage at the Ayurvedic Centre.

At your hotel / resort on the beach at leisure.

Day at leisure or you can have some yoga lesson if you wish.

11. Marari - Cochin
Drive to the Cochin Airport in time for your onward flight.
Option :
Return to Cochin Airport for a flight to Agatti Island in the Lakshadweep
for a stay at Bangaram Island. The trip from Agatti airport to Bangaram is
by boat.
Bangaram Island
Of
the 36 islands, Bangaram is the gem. A tropical island surrounded by white
sand and a sea of aquamarine. Emphasis is on natural and simple. The resort
is made up of 30 simple huts with ceiling fans, fridges and showers (cold
water). The dining hut serves buffet meals and is a mixture of local and
continental dishes with of course lots of fresh fish and tropical fruits.
There is a beach bar open most of the day serving a wide range of drinks.
Diving, fishing and snorkelling are available here.
If you wish to visit Lakshadweep you will need written permission which we
can provide.

alternative hotel accommodation at the same / similar level. However
this could sometimes entail extra cost as not all hotels maintain the

- For International flights airlines require you to report for check in
3 hrs prior to departure if you are flying economy class.
- Return flights should be reconfirmed at least 72 hrs prior to

not responsible if the request is not made to us and seats are released
by the airline.
