Goa |
If the name
conjures up miles of white beaches fringed with palm trees, gardens filled
with tropical fruits and scented flowers, relaxing in a hammock under
coconut palms, seafood barbecues accompanied by romantic guitar music, then
you are in the right place!
This is India's own private paradise. Unlike any other area of India you
will be transported into a very special world. Because Goa was a Portuguese
colony until the 60's, the music, language, religion and food are all
influenced by it's history.
Take your choice of lazing away your days in the relaxed atmosphere or
spending some time visiting the state. The Cathedrals and whitewashed
churches of Old Goa close by the capital of Panjim, the Wednesday Flea
Market on the beach at Anjuna or the Hindu temples around Ponda in south
Goa.
Goa has more than 100 kilometers of coastline so your only problem is
choosing a beach. Take your pick:
- a quiet beach to laze on while the waters of the Arabian Sea lap at your
feet,
- swimming with dolphins ,
- a myriad of watersports including parasailing, water-skiing, windsurfing
,
- cruising down the Mandovi river.
If the idea of eating freshly caught lobsters, tiger prawns, crab and a
whole range of fish makes your mouth water, then this is the place for you.
Together with an exciting cocktail and the sounds of Goan music in the
background, your holiday feeling is assured.
We can offer you some of the finest hotels in Goa at affordable prices, so
luxury is not out of the question. Some of our most used hotels are only a
short drive from the airport or railway station. The hotel will pick you up
and before you know it you will be sitting in a tropical garden surrounded
by palms. The gardens, with swimming pools and water bars end only when you
reach the beautiful white beaches.
Goa is also an ideal closing point after a tour of other parts of India.
After taking in the sights and sounds of India, a few relaxing days on the
beaches of Goa is a wonderful way to finish off your Indian experience!
